The habitats the animals in the phylum mollusca occupy vary about as much as the animals themselves. you will find mollusks in marine environments in the form of octopus , nudibranches , squid and many more. some animals such as octopus live in the coral and change the appearance of their skin in relation to the appearance of their habitat. You will also find mollusks in freshwater environments as well. some gastropods such as underwater snails dwell in the bottom of lakes and feed on things like algae. Terrestrial environments are also exploited by some mollusks such as slugs and snails. they live in moist dark areas mostly.
